New Beginnings
Exciting times ahead!
With book launch successfully tucked away in March, I can now focus on new projects!
I’m excited!
Book two in A Midlife Romcom Series is well on its way and is over the halfway mark. And I am bursting to share the surprises that the residents of Pelican Cove have got in store for you! But, you’ll have to wait. Suffice to say there are exciting adventures with lovestruck dramas and a few new candidates for a bit of romance 🤣🤣 The working title is Marriage & Mayhem (and some pandemonium).
But if you’re curious about how the launch for Love & Laughter went in March, I’ll link some of the interviews for you:
Sue’s Musings: Love & Laughter
Intrepid Reader and Baker: Love & Laughter
These were really special to me. And if they’ve whetted your appetite for more, the purchase link for Love & Laughter is below.
She's a local yogi toying with new love in midlife; he's suave Captain Underpants, too cocksure for his own good. But when he finds out she has a second love interest, he is devastated...

Incidentally, I was told by the marketing manager at Good Reading Magazine that Love & Laughter would make a great Mother’s Day gift! Give her the gift of love, she'll thank you for it 💕
And, I just want to say congratulations to our winners from the blog subscribers giveaway in March, for Love & Laughter. Happy reading to Leeza, Kerry and Tosin 🎉🎉🎉
Huge thanks also to everyone who entered the giveaway. And big gratitude to all my friends, family and readers who contributed to the massive success of Love & Laughter’s launch. From author talks, to reviews and so much enthusiasm, I simply couldn’t have done it without each and every one of you xxxxx
For any readers who are wondering if I'm still writing nonfiction, I'm thrilled to tell you that my latest short story is nearing publication. In fact, my co-author/sister, Jude, and I have our first triple interview on the weekend for our mini-memoir, Sisters in the Outback: An Uluru Adventure. All three of us, interviewer Kate Champion on the Living Big Mindfully podcast included, reside in different countries so it should be an interesting get-together.
What do you get when an energy healer and a tree whisperer visit Uluru together?
A pocket guide to the magic of place of course:
Sisters in the Outback: An Uluru Adventure will be available for preorder in May 2025!

What I've Been Reading:
Fiction: Somebody's Nobody by Helen Aitchison
We didn't just see through the character's eyes, we felt their angst - Elora Canne, review
A compelling read, even though not my usual genre, it being a crime/police procedural, but I felt drawn to the storyline of homelessness and the perceived invisibility of vulnerable people. This POV caught me by surprise in that it spilled over to the suspects as well as the victims, making it a gripping read of strained relationships and insightful introspection. The two topics I love reading about the most!

Nonfiction: The Savvy Retirement Travel Book by Kathy Landon
